Born in Richmond, David attended Douglas Freeman H.S. and then Virginia Commonwealth University. At V.C.U. he graduated with a B.S. in Accounting. Thereafter, he worked for a regional C.P.A. firm, passed the C.P.A. examination and achieved C.P.A. designation. Not currently working as a C.P.A. since in private industry.
Since 1981 David has worked in private industry, including the tobacco and automotive industries. He owned his own business for the last 11 years before starting with the Anchor Financial Group as their Chief Financial Officer and is looking forward to next trip to the Caribbean.
